Design Standards

Missouri State University's Design Standards are guidelines established to provide a consistent approach to designing and constructing buildings on campus.  These standards are developed to assist consultants in understanding the University's policies, the minimum design and submittal criteria, and some of the basic requirements for material and products to be included in University projects.  The information within these standards is not specific to any one project, but is common to all projects.

These standards must be adjusted as necessary to meet specific project needs and should be utilized as a baseline of quality.  Any deviations should be discussed with the Project Manager and will be reviewed for conformance.
