Project Description: The renovation includes work on all four floors, exterior site improvements, building envelope work, a new roof and mechanical/electrical/plumbing upgrades throughout the building. The first floor will have a new Advisement Center, an updated waiting room for the Speech and Language Clinic, student lounge and study spaces, renovated restrooms and new finishes throughout the main corridor. The second, third and fourth floor work includes new finishes in all main corridors, renovated restrooms, new student lounge/study spaces and classroom renovations.

Project Description: This project will include renovations to Glass Hall room 229 to create space for the Housing and Interior Design (HID) and Merchandising and Fashion Design (MFD) departments to relocate from the Park Central Office Building (PCOB). The scope will consist of creating three computer lab classrooms for HID, MFD, and one for ACC (Accounting). It will also include creating a sample library, storage space, a display window for HID, and a display window for MFD in rooms 231, 232, and 233.

Project Description: This project installs an additional chiller in chiller station number six (6) located adjacent to Hammons Student Center. The additional chiller will help ensure that the district chilled water system has adequate capacity to serve the Springfield Campus and will help ensure the reliability of the system. In order to locate the new chiller in chiller station number six (6), the aging boilers that currently serve Hammons Student Center will need to be removed from the building. This project will provide a new consolidated boiler plant located in the Great Southern Bank Arena. The new boiler plant will serve Hammons Student Center, as well as the Great Southern Bank Arena. The new boilers will be high-efficiency gas fired condensing boilers, increasing energy efficiency, and allowing for better control of the heating system for the adjoining buildings. Owner furnished equipment to include: pumps, condensing boilers, chiller, cooling tower, and various electrical substations, switches, and panels.

Project Description: Develop a welcoming, accessible entrance connecting MSU's property south of Grand Street to the rest of campus while providing ADA parking within those lots. An ADA accessible ramp will need to be designed on Lot 22 down to the existing tunnel under Grand Street. A new elevator will need to be designed on the north end of the tunnel in front of the Art Annex. All work will need to be coordinated with the City of Springfield's future to widen Grand Street at this location.

Project Description: The Pavilion will be an approximate 7,700 square foot, open air, steel structure with a tension membrane roof, a permanent stage and fixed tiers for 350 removable seats. The structure will be fitted with all the necessary electrical and audio/video infrastructure to allow MSU to install equipment either temporarily or permanently as needed for performances. There will be approximately 10,000 square feet of site improvements surrounding the Pavilion including new storm water management, hardscapes, landscaping and lighting. There are a number of add alternates, such as a 1,100 square foot stage house, landscaping, and theatre equipment.

Project Description: This project will include a renovation of a portion of the Broadway Building on the West Plains campus to house the welding program for the Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Technology (GOCAT). The portion of the building that is planned to be renovated is currently unoccupied and being used for storage. The area of renovation is approximately 11,500 square feet and will also require an addition of approximately 2,000 square feet for new restrooms, an exit stairway, and an elevator. The first floor will include welding booths, a fabrication area, project area, material storage, gas storage, material receiving, restrooms, locker area, entry, offices, breakroom, workroom, and a classroom. The second floor will accommodate two classrooms and one of the classrooms will be set up as a computer lab. The basement will remain as is with a few minor improvements to address the water infiltration issues.

Project Description: This project includes the addition of a lecture hall to the south side of Looney Hall on the West Plains campus. The lecture hall addition will include a new classroom to seat up to 100 students, a new main entrance into the building, and new restrooms. The new classroom will have tiered seating, and the new restrooms will serve both the lecture hall addition and the existing building.

Project Description: The Nursing Department on the West Plains campus is housed in Looney Hall and is in need of a new nursing simulation lab, new elevator, and interior renovations. The new addition will be located on the North end of the existing building at the lower level. Minor modifications will also be required on the existing interior of the lower level and the existing nursing simulation lab on the first floor. All work required to complete a functional nursing simulation lab will be included in the Base Bid package. A new replacement elevator and additional interior renovations will be included in as Bid Alternates.

Project Description: This project is to repair the cracking and spalling that is occurring along the exterior slab extensions at Woods and Wells House. Some will require significant work which will include, flashing and existing sealant removal, prep and patching, caulking and installing an elastomeric coating. Other ledges may involve cleaning, and coating only.
