Repairs to Building Envelope, Glass Hall

Project Description: This project will consist of removal and replacement of original curtainwall, windows, and glazing that is on the north, south, and west elevations of the original Glass Hall building. The project will include removal and replacement of precast caulking on the same elevations, powerwashing of the precast, and roof replacements on the doghouse structures. Interior work will be required where the old systems are removed, including but not limited to drywall repair and replacement, painting, windowsill replacements, and window roller shades.

Football Locker Room, McDonald Arena

Project Description: This project includes a partial renovation of McDonald Hall & Arena to support Missouri State Athletics. The base bid consists of renovations to the first-floor east wing, creating a new football locker room along with associated restrooms and shower facilities. The project also includes upgrades to fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, security, audio-visual, building technology, and environmental graphics systems. The project includes four add alternates. The first alternate reconnects and extends the historic below-grade game day tunnel between McDonald Arena and Plaster Stadium. The second alternate renovates the existing arena space to create a new weight room facility. The third alternate renovates existing spaces to provide an enhanced athletic training area, equipment storage, and laundry facilities. The last alternate includes installing new underground primary electric feed from City Utilities equipment in Lot 4 to a new pad-mount transformer at McDonald Arena.

Playground Improvements, Greenwood Laboratory School

Project Description: This project focuses on renovating the existing playground at Greenwood Laboratory School. This includes revising the grading and civil systems to improve drainage, adding a new synthetic turf play area, and installing a concrete walking track. Other work may include demolishing existing site elements, relocating existing play equipment, refreshing the engineered wood fiber play surfacing, pouring new concrete courts, and installing new fencing.
