Project Description: Install two new AC units at the Networking and Telecommunications Data Center located in Blair-Shannon. The electrical service will be upgraded to a private electrical feed that can be switched from between campus feeds independently of the rest of Blair Shannon or other facilities. The project also includes the replacement of the 13,200 volt primary/480 volt secondary unit substation located in the basement of Blair-Shannon. Both the new service for Networking and Telecommunications and Blair Shannon shall be provided with a dual wound primary (13,200/4,160 volt) and connected to the existing pad-mounted medium voltage switch located on the Blair-Shannon loading dock. All work under this project will have to be phased to minimize down time and closely coordinated to minimize disruption to University operations

Project Description: The Bull Shoals Field Station is a satellite property of the MSU system and is situated within the Ozarks near the Drury-Mincy conservation area. This station provides a location for education and research by MSU faculty and students, other universities, and non-profit organizations. The new Ozarks Education Center will provide a central location to accommodate larger groups, sleeping quarters, a dining center, and classroom space. The Center will include a classroom building with kitchen that is connected to a shower house and ADA sleeping quarters by a dog-trot space. Additional sleeping quarters will be provided with individual cabins on the site. Project will include site work and new construction as described in the contract documents.

Project Description: In the continued effort to utilize space within Carrington Hall more efficiently, a renovation of spaces currently occupied for the General Counsel in Room 205 needs to be completed. The area will house the General Counsel’s Office, Title IX Resources, and the Office for Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) once the renovation is complete. Mechanical and electrical updates will be addressed along with new walls, doors, finishes, and any associated work.

Project Description: This project will remove existing make-up air units and provide two new make-up air units on rooftop. The work also includes providing new roofing on both low roofs as part of the unit replacement. The units on the roof will be rotated for better access and maintenance. The project will also rework piping below the roof to allow penetration to occur near the new make-up air unit locations. The project will also provide a new pump setup for future four-pipe heating and cooling, new reheat piping risers for future connection on floors when renovated, an additional reheat coil and sequence of operations to the auditorium air-handling unit, and carbon dioxide monitoring in the auditorium.

Project Description: This project includes the renovation of two rooms in Kemper Hall, 105 & 126. Currently Room 105 is a computer lab and Room 126 is a lab for Astrophysics. The two rooms will essentially swap spaces. The new computer lab (126) will have 24 computer stations, new carpet, electrical/data upgrades and new LED lighting. The existing computers and desks currently in 105 will be relocated to 126. Room 105 will receive mechanical/electrical/plumbing upgrades, new LED lighting, new casework/countertops with three sinks, two fume hoods and polished concrete floors. Existing furniture/equipment from a JVIC lab will be relocated to 105. This will be a Summer 2019 project.

Project Description: This project will replace room finishes to include carpet, stair risers, stair nosings, and acoustical wall panels. Refurbish existing running trim and provide new wall finishes. Panic alarms on the north doors of room will be disconnected. Removal and partial reuse of existing seminar tables. Installation of new walls with power at seating platforms and relocated seminar tables. New ceiling suspended lighting at south room entry is also included.

Project Description: Preventative parking lot maintenance and ADA improvements for various parking lots at the Springfield campus. Work includes removing and replacing small sections of asphalt that is broken, spalling, cracked, or deteriorating as well as improvements to paving, curbs, ramps, and sidewalks to comply with ADA parking requirements. After parking lot repairs are complete each lot will be restriped. Lots that do not require repair with be restriped, crack filled, and sealed with an asphalt emulsion.
