Project Description: The 101 and 118 rooms of Carrington Hall will be renovated to fit the needs of University Financial Aid. The project will include selective demolition and new construction of walls and ceilings. Associated work includes updated finishes and signage, replacement of mechanical units, modification of power and lighting, and reconfiguration of other items as required for the new layouts. The work will be phased to first complete renovations in 101 and then renovate 118.

Project Description: The renovation of Hill Hall will provide an enhanced learning enviornment for the students, faculty, and staff of the college of education and psychology programs. This includes improving accessibility for the facility, faculty and staff offices and work areas, classrooms, support areas, and student collaboration spaces. In addition, maintenance and repairs will be made to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and electrical distribution systems are required. Work will be done to improve the life safety components of the project including the fire suppression and fire alarm systems. Construction will begin Summer 2017 and ready for use by Fall 2018.

Project Description: Missouri State University is interested in constructing a location known as NPHC Plots on our campus. This is a location that provides a presence on campus for historically African American fraternities and sororities. The site will be the patio to the east of McDonald Arena. Two pergolas made of Phenix Stone will be erected, an accessible entrance added and plaques will be mounted to the short wall surrounding the patio.

Project Description: The project will add paving to the existing gravel parking lot near the Mill Street Warehouse (corner of Campbell Avenue and Mill Street). It is anticipated the lot will be temporary as the area may be developed in the future for other things. The University is interested in creating a dust free (chip & seal) surface as the base bid and considering an alternate upgrade to asphalt. Parking lot lighting will be provided similar to other University parking lots.

Project Description: Preventative parking lot maintenance and ADA improvements for various parking lots at the Springfield campus. Lots include: 2, 4, 7, 11, 16, 18, 19, 27, 29, 39, 40, 42, 47, 47B, 52, and STMA. Work includes removing and replacing small sections of asphalt that is broken, spalling, cracked, or deteriorating as well as improvements to paving, curbs, ramps, and sidewalks to comply with ADA parking requirements. After parking lot repairs are complete each lot will be restriped. Lots that do not require repair with be restriped, crack filled, and sealed with an asphalt emulsion.
