Project Description:
This project replaced one of the existing failed boilers located within the Power House. Boiler #4, a 45,000 pound per hour, D type, water tube boiler had multiple failure points making replacement necessary. The replacement bolier9s0 consists of smaller fire tube boilers that are closely matched to the campus summer steam production needs. This project also replaced the existing chimney with a new ground supported unit designed to match the new boiler(s) configuration.
