Planning, Design and Construction is pleased to share weekly project updates with the campus and community. While not a comprehensive list, the updates reflect our more substantial campus projects. Below are our most current updates and previous updates are available at the bottom of this page.

Addition & Renovation, Blunt Hall

The level five (roof) concrete pour has been delayed to the end of next week due to weather. Mechanical & electrical work continues on level zero, level one, level two, and level three. Interior metal stud framing continues on level zero, level one, level two and level three. Exterior metal stud framing continues. Topping out is scheduled for May 22.

Autism Student Support Center, West Plains Campus

The structural steel installation continues, and all columns and roof trusses have been installed. Steel installation will continue for the next several weeks. Steel stud framing will start in the coming weeks with the parapet walls followed by roof installation.

Addition & Renovation, Kemper Hall

The second concrete slab pour for level one is in place. The third concrete slab pour preparation is in progress and is scheduled for next week, weather pending. Underground electrical conduit and basement electrical equipment work continues. Under slab plumbing trench drain work is in progress this week. Structural steel deliveries arrived this week.

Agricultural Innovation Hub, Darr Agricultural Center

Concrete foundation work continues. Under slab electrical and plumbing work is in progress.

Sidewalk Improvements, Springfield Campus

Sidewalk replacement to commence the week after graduation in May.

MSU Baseball Training Facility

Drywall installation is nearing completion. Painting has started and will be complete next week. Flooring and base installation will begin next week.

Turf Replacement, Allison South Stadium

Submittals have been reviewed and approved. The contractor is securing materials for the project. Work will commence after graduation in May.

Renovate Locker Room, Hammons Student Center

HVAC installation at the new locker room space, electrical work, wall framing, wall clean up and prep at gym wall columns, and the removal of the bleachers in the north gym is ongoing. Preparation for the upcoming installation of gym flooring is ongoing. Further work in the north and south gyms, and the east and west decks will begin following graduation in May.
