This facility, completed in 1998, is one of our university's newest
classroom facilities. Built to house the College of Humanities
and Public Affairs, the facility became an important landmark on our
campus due to its location on the western quadrangle.
Modifications have recently been made the to Strong Hall to accommodate the Master Controls for the Ozark
Public Television (OPT). Located on the first floor, it is now
a part of the Broadcast Services Unit along with KSMU-FM, the
university's public radio station.
The architects for the project was
Hastings & Chivetta.
The contractor was Wirt Corporation with a project budget of $20,250,000.
Strong Hall was completed in August, 1998.
