This project includes the replacement of approximately 2000 square feet of tunnel top that has deteriorated to the point that it is no longer practical to repair it. A new tunnel will be built north of McDonald Hall & Arena. This new tunnel will connect to the existing tunnel system south of Freudenberger House and will reconnect to the Meyer Library tunnel east of Kings Street. Currently the crawl space below McDonald Hall & Arena serves as the conduit for utilities in this area.

The project also includes demolition of the outdoor pool, located between McDonald and Freudenberger House.  The area will be improved to provide open area for residents of Freudenberger House.
