The 1998 renovation of Forsythe Athletics Center concentrated on the addition of a second floor and a totally new exterior.

The most recent project involved the renovation of the first floor interior.  The existing spaces on the first floor  were vacated to allow for the complete renovation. The second floor remained occupied and it was a challenge to keep the facility operational during the construction phase.

New locker rooms and support areas were constructed for both men's and women's athletic teams.

Custom lockers were provided in the football locker room, the men's and women's locker rooms, and the men's and women's coaches' locker rooms.

As with the first phase of the project, the design goal was to provide a fresh new look and impressive image to potential recruits suitable for a first rate Division 1AA athletic program.  The school colors of maroon and white were used as the primary feature of the design.

The architects for the project were Gaskin, Hill, Norcross. The contractor was R.E. Smith Construction Company
With a project budget of $1,800,000, it was completed in August 2003.
